Your data should not be a mystery.

Birth and astrology inputs. Your name or profile label, date and time of birth, birthplace, latitude, longitude, time zone, ayanamsha, and calculation preferences. Love compatibility tools may receive the equivalent details for two people. Please submit another person's information only when you have permission to do so.

Account and contact information. The website uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication, and the Moon Dasha apps will too when they launch. When you sign in, we receive account identifiers such as your Google display name, email address, Firebase user ID, and authentication credentials needed to maintain the session. With an account, the birth-chart and compatibility reports you save are stored on our servers so you can open them on any device. Saved birth profiles stay in your browser. If you contact us, we receive the details you enter in the form, including your email and message.

AI chat. When you use the AI chat on a saved chart, we store your questions, the answers, the chart data prepared for the conversation, the chat mode you chose, and the credits each answer used. We also keep usage records for each answer, such as the AI model used, token counts, and cost, without the text of your messages.

Plans and payments. If you buy the Pro plan or a credit pack on the website, Razorpay processes the payment. We receive and keep the payment and subscription records Razorpay sends us: the plan or pack, the amount, the payment status, Razorpay's reference IDs, the email address and phone number you gave Razorpay at checkout, and limited details of the payment method, such as its type, the last four digits of a card, or a UPI ID. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank login.

Location and widget information. When the Moon Dasha apps for iOS and Android launch, they will request approximate device location only after you choose to use current location, and you will be able to select a city manually instead. The apps will round device coordinates before storing them. The home-screen widget will store its configuration and calculated snapshot in operating-system protected app storage so it can refresh without opening the app.

Device and usage information. Our servers and enabled service providers may receive IP address, browser or mobile device type, operating-system version, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate region, error information, and interaction data needed to operate and secure the service.

Local storage and cookies. The website stores recent locations, up to 20 saved birth profiles, interface preferences, and similar information in browser storage. When the Moon Dasha apps launch, they will store non-sensitive preferences locally and encrypt cached birth-chart reports and widget location before saving them. Website cookies and comparable technologies support essential functions, preferences, analytics, and measuring our own ads. Read the Cookie Policy for more information.

We do not ask you to include sensitive medical, financial, government identification, or legal information in free text forms. Please do not send it unless it is necessary for a specific support request.

• Calculate birth charts, compatibility results, dashas, divisional charts, strengths, transits, and related outputs you request.
• Return results, remember optional preferences, and provide features you choose to use.
• Answer your questions in the AI chat from your chart data, and show you your past conversations.
• Run your plan, credits, and payments, including renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
• Respond to support, privacy, feedback, media, and other messages.
• Monitor performance, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
• Understand feature usage and improve accessibility, accuracy, reliability, and design.
• Meet legal obligations, enforce our terms, and establish or defend legal claims when necessary.

We read an AI chat conversation only to answer a support request you send us, look into abuse, or fix a fault in the chat. We never use your conversations to train AI models.

Depending on where you live, the legal basis for processing may be performance of a service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Moon Dasha, your consent, or compliance with law.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose limited information in these situations:

Service providers. Moon Dasha APIs and hosting providers process calculation requests and account data. Google Sign-In and Firebase provide authentication on the website, and will in the Moon Dasha apps when they launch. Open-Meteo receives latitude and longitude to look up the local time zone. Web3Forms processes the contact, deletion, blog-comment and astrologer application forms. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Analytics, ad measurement, and error tracking. Google Analytics shows us how the website is used. Google Ads and the OpenAI pixel tell us which of our own ads led to a visit and which pages that visit reached; we switch off Google's ad-personalisation signals for these tags. SpeedVitals measures how fast pages load for real visitors, and Sentry records errors so we can fix them. These services receive device and usage information such as your IP address, browser, and the pages you view.

Embedded content and fonts. Some blog posts embed YouTube videos. The video thumbnail loads from YouTube with the page, and the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Each of these services receives your IP address and browser details when it loads.

AI chat providers. Anthropic and OpenAI write the AI chat's answers. For each answer, one of them receives your question, the earlier messages in that conversation, and your computed chart data, such as planet positions, dasha periods, and transits. We don't send them your name or birthplace, though they will receive any personal details you type into a question. Under their terms for business customers, they don't use this data to train their models, and they may keep it for a limited time to detect abuse.

Payments. Razorpay processes payments for the Pro plan and credit packs on the website. We pass Razorpay your name and email address to fill in its checkout form, and it collects your payment and contact details directly, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Legal and safety needs. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or secure Moon Dasha.

Business changes. If Moon Dasha is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable law.

At your direction. A report you download, post, or share is controlled by you after it leaves Moon Dasha. Hiding the name or the birth details changes what the shared report shows. Report calculation inputs are still transmitted to create the requested report.

Website data remains in browser storage until you remove it, clear site data, use an available delete control, or the browser removes it. When the Moon Dasha apps launch, cached reports and widget location will remain on the device until you delete the relevant record, delete your account, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

Saved birth-chart and compatibility reports stay in your account until you delete them or delete your account. AI chat conversations are kept with the chart they belong to, and deleting that chart deletes them too. AI usage records stay after an account is deleted, with no link to you. Payment and subscription records also stay after an account is deleted, for as long as tax, accounting, and dispute rules require.

We also keep a log of each calculation request, including the birth details entered (for a compatibility check, both people's), as a record of the calculations we run that helps us check and fix them. The log is not linked to your account, so deleting your account does not remove it, and we keep it until someone asks us to remove their records. To ask, use the data-deletion form and tell us the name you entered and roughly when. We search the log by hand, delete the matching records we find, and may email you for details that help us find them.

Other server and provider information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the requested feature, account operation, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Backup copies and technical logs may take additional time to expire or be isolated from active use.

We use HTTPS for network requests. When the Moon Dasha apps for iOS and Android launch, they will encrypt cached birth-chart reports with AES-GCM and protect encryption keys through the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore, widget data will use operating-system protected storage, and Android app backups will be disabled. No website, app, network, storage method, or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection. Keep access to your device secure and review report privacy options before sharing.

Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information we control. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. These rights can have exceptions, and we may need to verify your identity before acting.

Information kept only in your browser is under your control there. Clear Moon Dasha site data to remove local profiles, locations, cookies, and preferences. To delete your account, open Settings in your dashboard on the website and choose Delete account; the Moon Dasha apps will offer the same option when they launch. This removes your account, saved reports, and AI chat conversations from our servers straight away. If your Pro plan is still set to renew, cancel it in Billing first. Deleting your account does not remove the calculation log described in section 4; use the public deletion page for that. Payment records are kept as described in section 4, and clearing local website or app storage does not remove information already submitted to a server.

We store account data and saved reports in our Supabase database in India, for users everywhere. Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. For example, our AI chat providers may process your messages in the United States. Privacy laws and government access rules may differ. Where required, we use an appropriate legal mechanism or rely on another lawful basis for the transfer.

Moon Dasha is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without appropriate authorization. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can contact us for review and deletion. Do not enter another person's birth details unless you have a lawful reason and permission to do so.

We may update this policy as Moon Dasha changes or legal requirements evolve. The effective date at the top shows the latest published version. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website when appropriate.
